A meeting with WM which commenced at started at 7:00pm GMT, so pretty good numbers for the hour from NB, especially at only a couple of hours notice. Obviously on even numbers the outcome would have been different, although WM's hefty levels advantage would have been the overriding factor. NB being allowed to have a few more seemed to strike a good competitive balance. The eb and flow went back and forth, with it all being square at 13-13 in round 2, while WM took a 12-10 lead in round 3 before letting it slip going into the latter stages. NB did well to rally and force some vital KOs to clinch each of the rounds. Well done, folks, especially to the first time ever warrer (flaxiforever) and second time ever warrer (Picklespoon) in attendance.
WM are quite active in their pursuit of smaller wars. They lack numbers as a small country clan, but they make up for it with good levels, solid activity and a desire to build their warring quality. They also F2P PK frequently, often forcing others to team against them. WM have been integrating some new people recently, so hopefully they might break 15+ turnouts soon and will be ready to mix it up with "mainstream" clans in the near future. It would be quite the story considering that WM have actually been around since 2006.
GG WM. Until next time.

An hour later, NB participated in a mini cluster that ended up featuring 7 clans, each bringing 5 people (so 5v5v5v5v5v5v5) into the FFA portal. It was a 30 minutes skirmish and positively hectic, although understandably quite difficult to determine a winner. Nevertheless, each uni had fun, NB very much included. Rewind to10 years and there was a lot more emphasis on clans just having fun. Events like this go a long way towards recapturing the way clanning was in 02-05. Fun stuff.
