New Blood v The Embassy
This event was supposed to start at 1:00pm EST / 6:00pm GMT, but The Embassy had some issues getting everyone onto Discord. Once that was sorted, they rolled up with 15 people and all but two were 120+, which was a nice surprise. As for the performance, a few of them struggled with tanking and their styles were a bit lacking, while a couple of them had a penchant for sniping within clumps, but they put forth a very respectable effort for an RSB clan that doesn't war often. I think TE were perhaps expecting something different when seeing how vast an advantage they had in terms of levels, but NB was more disciplined, had everyone in styles and ultimately showed the difference between a clan that wars sometimes vs a clan that wars regularly.
Apparently TE enjoyed the war and have enquired about a follow up in the near future. NB also got some great practice, especially for the people that stepped up to call and the first time ever warrer that attended. They didn't want to do a round 2 since the late start meant that they had another event to pursue. Nevertheless, thank you to Embassy for the event and best of luck if you decide to be a bit more warring based in the future. You definitely have the foundations if the interest is there.
Round 1 - First to 25 KC
NB: 16 people (dropped from 20+)
TE: 16 people
NB won 25-15
Small RSB Cluster - 10v10v10v10v10v10v10
After the CWA, NB dropped by to a small RSB cluster that it was invited to. Each clan was welcome to bring up to 10 people, but only four clans showed up initially (New Blood, Drita, Tiger PvM, and Corruption) out of the 7 that were invited, although a 5th (Vanguard) did drop by during the last 10 minutes. Everyone who attended seemed to have a blast and the PvMers were given a great introduction to warring.
NB mainly patrolled the deep multi zones and routinely cleared those who ventured that far north. Tighter boundaries probably would have been better with hindsight, although it couldn't have been predicted that a few clans wouldn't come along. 1 of the clans seemed to be under the impression that they couldn't have attended due to only having 8, but obviously it wouldn't have mattered. Hopefully more clans attend/are invited next time.
NB held their own with a starting and ending of 10 people. Most importantly, funsies was had.
