The latest encounter with WM yielded some excellent wilderness action on this occasion, which made it two PvP wars within three days for NB. The boundaries were tree to tree and the start time ended up being 7:15pm GMT. WM had another strong performance against Poison recently and the challenge has been set for NB to try and keep up with WM's progress. Admittedly, that didn't happen today, so credit to WM for being better across the board. It wasn't just their levels and Annakarl teleports. They have been trying hard to improve and are reaping the rewards for doing so. They had good pre-binds, rebinded well, generally had good reactions to being piled, clinical pile selection, and decent clumping. Despite being a Finnish only clan, they will be continuing to grow and they have people training up to join. With that in mind, it will be very intriguing to see what WM can do as their numbers increase in tandem with the continued building of their quality.
As for NB, the weekday GMT turnout was fantastic with just the 1 TR present for the purpose of Teamspeak calling. The majority of people did well, although binds were slacking 10-15 minutes in, clumping wasn't up to par, there was a bit too much melee emphasis at times, and 2 people didn't even have canoe return methods available to them. Nevertheless, there were good sequences and despite losing on ending #s and on KD/R, NB can draw some positives from the performance. Some people tanked very well, it was valuable experience and the swift switching of piles is definitely getting better. Some struggled with tanking, but that's to be expected and can only get better over time.
GG WM. Until next time.
