After gaining a bundle of new people recently, Darkturbo were open to getting back into warring and it also looks like they are intending to do so more regularly. The first round didn't go well, mainly due to several NB ending up scattered due to being disrupted by sniping, which then took away too much KO power. 2 people also left CC thinking that they could replenish energy/prayer. In short, it definitely could have been better, but DT were rightful winners of the round and NB left the portal at 12 vs 32. The second round was a mismatch with DT struggling with a run-in format since tanks could spread them around, which left behind isolated stragglers that could be picked off. Finally, round 3 was better than the first knockout with everyone having a much better idea of what to expect and adapting accordingly. People stuck together better, snipers were transitioned on to, while DT members that were lagging behind their piles were able to be picked off and slowly but surely the numbers were reduced. Once numbers were similar, NB was able to comfortably round up the win.
NB had a lot of fun and so did DT. The potential that DT have is obvious, too. Having 48 people wanting to attend a CWA is very good by anyone's standards, but all the better if sustained efforts are made to supplement that quantity with better quality, as well as ensuring that they only have 1 pile. DT have expressed that they would like a rematch vs NB in a few weeks after their pending break from events between now and the first week of January.
GG DT. Until next time.
