An opportunity presented itself in the form of a very tough test against FOP. Some harsh but necessary lessons were learned, but that's what it's all about with NB. Of course, it wasn't just the large deficit in levels that came into the equation, but also the gap in experience. Some of the newer folks struggled and were brutally exposed for such things as not clumping effectively, praying melee vs styles and using range prayer protection without a green dragonhide chest. i.e. The basic fundamentals that RSC veterans don't even have to think about when warring since it's second nature. NB did show considerable improvement in round 2. People who had been KO'd repeatedly showed better anticipation and awareness of being piled, binds were a bit better and pile selection was solid. I'd say round 2 was very respectable from NB's perspective all things considered.

It's nice to see FOP making their return following a hibernation period and they did look solid across the board. Thank you for the event and best of luck with getting back into the swing of things. Hopefully this was a decent warm up for you and perhaps NB vs FOP can happen again in the near future. GG.

Round 1 - First to 25 KC

NB: 21 people

FOP: 16 people

FOP wins 25-7

Round 2 - First to 25 KC

NB: 21 people

FOP: 17 people

FOP wins 25-13
