With a few days preparation, being outnumbered was expected given DK's impressive recruitment since opening, but we were happy to agree to a fullout nonetheless. NB had 5 TR guests in round 1 and 7 TR guests in round 2. We tried to strike a balance with the % of TR in order to keep the fight as competitive as possible, yet still preserving it as a good learning fight for NB. To that end, it was. The end result was skewed by DK having level 80s to prey on, but we were very happy with the overall performance. It was a milestone of sorts for NB members to have done so well due to the massing gaps in levels, including its average combat (95 at the time), yet KOs were forced and reactions to pile transitions was also very encouraging. We had a few 1st time warrers on the day and they had a blast.

 

Thank you to DK for giving NB some good and clean action, as well as for being quite respectful afterwards.

 

Round 1 - 24v42 - 10 minute run-in - DK won 32 to 28

Round 2 - 29v39 - First to 25 kills - DK won 25 to 23

DK won 2-0
